Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Meshdraft (Meshdraft LLC, "we", "us") handles when you use meshdraft.com and app.meshdraft.com and, just as importantly, what we never receive at all.
1. Your 3D models never leave your device
Meshdraft processes models locally in your browser using WebAssembly. Your models, textures, and exported results are not uploaded to, stored on, or visible to our servers at any point. Files you save go directly from your browser to your disk.
2. What we do collect
Anonymous usage events (the app). To understand which features are used and how they perform, the app sends small anonymous event records: the kind of action (for example "node executed", "draft applied", "model exported"), which built-in node or draft it refers to, timing and mesh statistics (such as triangle counts), app version, and a random session identifier. These events contain no model geometry, no images, no file names, and no text you type (custom draft names, for instance, are never transmitted). The anonymous data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure and is not used for advertising or sold to anyone.
Data you store locally. Your custom drafts and app preferences live in your browser's local storage, on your machine. Clearing site data in your browser removes them; we have no copy.
Account data. If you create an account, we store your email address, account settings, and subscription status (for example: trial, Pro, free). We use your email to operate your account and to send service messages; marketing email only with your consent, and every such email includes an unsubscribe link.
Payments. Purchases are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our merchant of record. Paddle collects and processes your payment details, billing address, and tax information under its own privacy policy (paddle.com/legal/privacy). We never receive your full payment card details, we receive confirmation of the purchase and what it entitles your account to.
The marketing website. www.meshdraft.com is hosted on Wix, which sets technical cookies and provides us aggregate visitor statistics. The site's cookie banner lets you control non-essential cookies. Pages may embed videos (for example YouTube tutorials); the video provider sets its own cookies only if you play them.
3. What we use data for
Operating and improving the product (which nodes and drafts are used, where they are slow, where they fail), operating your account and subscription, responding to support requests, and meeting legal obligations. We do not profile you, do not show ads, and do not sell personal data.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
Performance of a contract (accounts, subscriptions), legitimate interest (anonymous product telemetry, security), and consent where required (marketing email, non-essential cookies).
5. Sharing
We share data only with the service providers needed to run Meshdraft: Cloudflare (application hosting and telemetry storage), Wix (marketing site), Paddle (payments, as an independent merchant of record), and our email provider for service messages. Each processes data under its own contractual and legal obligations. We disclose data if required by law.
6. Retention
Anonymous usage events are retained for product analytics and are not linked to your identity. Account data is kept while your account exists and deleted on account deletion, except records we must keep for tax and accounting law (held by Paddle and/or us for the legally required period).
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. Write to us at the address below and we will respond. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority. For payment data, Paddle is the controller and the right contact.
8. Children
Meshdraft is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
9. International transfers
Our providers (Cloudflare, Wix, Paddle) may process data outside your country; each relies on recognized transfer safeguards described in its own policy.
10. Changes
We will post updates to this policy here and, for material changes, notify account holders by email or an in-product notice.
